THE FIELD

The bibo! "Ultimate 4V4 Soccer"™ pitch is a 40 meters long by 25 meters wide quality playing area. The surface is finely manicured and includes a 12.5-meter radius half-circle around each goal. Bibo! goals are "Puggs" with a 5-meter crease circling each goal.

All U8 & younger players will be allowed an additional player on the field.

After a goal is scored the defense may play immediately from within the goal arc.

Any player may score from anywhere on the field and at any time during regulation.

Players may run through the goal arc, but balls may not be played while in the arc.

An offensive touch inside the goal arc results in a goal kick for the defensive team.

A defensive touch within the goal arc results in a Penalty Kick (PK) for the offensive team.

PK's begin from a dead ball placed at half field. All players must be behind half-field as the shooter is allowed five seconds to place a shot on goal. Once the ball crosses the end line it is live! If scored, the ball will be live from the arc, and if missed the ball is live to play. Who will be first to the ball!

DIRECT, DIRECT, DIRECT!

All set pieces, and kick-ins are direct and may be scored.

Out of bounds results in a kick-in, no throws.

Opponents must honor 5 meters on all kicks.

Goal kicks may be taken from anywhere in the goal arc.

Kick-offs may go any direction.

Corner kicks are awarded for dead balls in the goal arc, IF last touched by the defense.

GAME DURATION

13 minute halves of non-stop action with a two-minute half.

No overtime until elimination rounds.

Overtime will be played in elimination rounds.

Overtime will consist of a 5 minute Golden Goal period.

If still tied, the game will be decided by a best of 5 PK shoot-out, followed by a 1V1.

Substitutions must enter & exit at half field only, and on the fly. No dead ball subs!

Too many players on the field will result in a PK.

RULES

All rules according to FIFA, except no offside, and no slide tackling.

Referees have the final say on all tournament rules.

POWER PLAY AND PENALTY BOX

Referees may award a 30 second power play for flagrant fouls, meaning one team will play a man down (i.e. 4V3); The player who committed the foul must sit out during the entire 30 seconds.

SCORING

Teams will receive 3 pts for a win, 1 pt for a tie, and zero points for a loss

Teams will receive 1 pt for each additional goal scored past their opponent, not to exceed 3 pts.

Tiebreakers will be broken as follows:

• 1. Head to Head record
• 2. Goals scored
• 3. Goal differential
• 4. Shoot-out.

Duration: Games will typically be held over two days depending on number of participants and fields.

Maxium players not to exceed 7, except for U8 which shall not exceed 8 players, and all players must have proof of age.

All players must wear shin guards, proper attire, and boots.

Yellow cards will result in a team deduction of 1 pt.

Red cards will result in player expulsion from the tournament and a PK.

2 red cards on any team will result in expulsion of that team.

No protests will be accepted.
